Soggy gray streets matched the sky as dark clouds unleashed their burden. Drains rumbled as they took in running water puddles roared as they were run over by glossed yellow cars. A giant clocked tolled the hour, 5:00 pm, adding to the noise of the storm. On both sides of the street people rushed by, ducking into stores and open cabs, holding papers and jackets over their heads, anything to keep the wet out. Damian did no such thing, his umbrella laying curled up and unused in his right hand.

It had been ages since he had been up this early. On any normal day the sun would still be shining, keeping all dark creatures in doors or underground. It was only on rare occasions such as this that a vampire could show its face in the daytime hours.

Cool rain water dripped down his ebony hair as Damian paused, reading a sign that showed the location of a bus stop, a video store, and a sport's bar. Nothing seemed to strike him, so he continued walking.

Ruby eyes took in each person, each store, and each car as they passed. Many places were unfamiliar seeing as how most shops closed as the sun fell. Damian had always only been able to view the cities night life. Club rats, vandals, and drug dealers had been his meals of choice, but now... Now he was getting a whole new taste of town.

Thunder shook the ground as lightning lit up the sky. Yes, it was a beautiful day indeed.

Ravange Sostratos

Thick bodice moved with quickly, bounding leaps that of an animal as Ravange raced down through alleys and over chain fences. Deep, throbbing laughter danced from his lips like the thunder that rolled overhead. The blood that covered his mouth and hands tasted bitterly sweet. Moments before he was a beast, a wolf, seizing down upon a young lass that had come across his path absentmindedly. Her death had been quick, although her screams had awoken the dark sirens of the police that had not an idea that the beast had, and was, a man.

Rave was safe, the police could not chase him down fast enough, and besides, they were looking for a giant wolf, they would never find him. He had no reason to run except for the fact that her blood still lingered on him, but his grin of ivory canine broadened as the thick clouds overhead broke, showing down a storm of rain that washed away the blood like rusty ink. He slowed his movements, heart thumping, lungs heaving in a sigh.

He turned a corner, chocolate eyes scanning over where he had escaped to. Main street. He rested a hand against the side of a nearby building, his eyes widening slightly as he realized that claws were still attached to his fingernails, but as the adrenaline in him settled, the claws pulled back into his flesh with a painful twist.

Chocolate optics flashed with gold as humans hustled about like frightened sheep, cowering the powerful storm that roared above their heads. But a new, familiar scent struck him rapidly. Eyes swerved, spotting the vampire immediately. A crack of lightning seemed to hit nearby, sending light into the streets. Ravange's face darkened as he pulled into the shadows that lurked at the edges of the alley. The rain blew sheets down, the thunder seemingly mocking the lightning as it snarled and thudded.

Prowling in the shadows Ravange calmly waited, he would have seemed like he was still working as a hunter, but he wasn't. He seeked a fight for pleasure rather than pay, his eyes glowed golden like thick lanterns in the misty rain. It didn't fase him that it was still the middle of the day, he didn't care if the human flock saw. Predatory rage always made him attack, even if it wasn't the greatest idea, but vampires still held their prick of pain in his heart that fueled him.

Damian cocked his head as a new scent disturbed the damp, earthy smell of the rainy streets. The water made it faint but it was no matter, Damian would recognize that scent anywhere. Blood.

His stomach suddenly felt empty, his mouth dry. Whipping his head around he searched for the scent only to be hit by another, less pleasant odor. Werewolf.

Ivory lips turned downward in disappointment. He had rather be hoping it would have been some poor helpless female, fresh blood running free and ready for the taking. But no, instead it was just some ruddy mutt.

Movement in the side of his vision pulled Damian's attention. Another flash of lightning lit up the area, a glimmer of gold was revealed in the shadows. The sheen of predatory eyes. Was this wolf...stalking him?

"Ah bloody hell..."

The curse was murmured under his breath as he racked his thoughts for a plan. He wasn't really a fighter, especially not when the odds were against him, so attacking wasn't really an option for him. Running seemed like a good idea, but then the beast would probably just instinctively chase. Too bad he didn't have a couple links of sausage or something, that seemed to work pretty well in all the cartoons.

It seemed the only option was confrontation. Perhaps try to stop the fight before it could start. Ha! Fat chance.

"Hey!"

Garnet eyes bore into golden ones, portraying all the annoyance their owners felt.

"The hell do you think you're doing?"

Damian turned to face the werewolf as he spoke, still keeping their distance between him. He may not want a fight, but he wasn't going to beg for mercy either.

Ravange Sostratos

"Pondering if the vampire's flesh will taste as sweet as human's, or as bitter as vermin's."

Sharp smirk that met in a deadly curve of bone white teeth showed brightly, glistening in cold amuse. Amber eyes shifted under the dark cloud that overtook them like a shadow. Dark growl twisted under thick chest as sharp, black studs of claws peeled back from fingernails, smirk broadened as he ran his hand over the side of a building. The screeching crack of claw against stone was sickeningly violent as it penetrated the pouring rain.

The press of shifting bone and cracking tendons sheered a great pain that would burst at the seams within moments, but mind restrained the change like a thin rope tied to a wild tiger. Eyes briefly were at the ground as he regained composure, the golden hues had taken a wolf-like reflection before gaze was pulled back up to the red eyes of the Vampire. Claws had dug painfully into the stone wall, griping onto humanity for how many seconds it still existed, Ravange's mouth tasted salty with the red drug that was blood. His blood. Muscles on his insides tended to bleed when pulled back from changing.

Pink tongue lavished his fangs, coloring them crimson before sadistic words carried from his throat with rough lining of thorns,

"You are unwise to confront the beast that intends to make you his prey, how human you act for a vampire."

Taunt was held coldly, eyes reflecting the jeering maliciousness that poured like the rain about them. Claws raped against the stone, jaws crunching as human teeth slowly drilled into rounded, razor-sharp, sabers. Fights were never avoided with Ravange, seeking them out was even funner a game than hunting. Hunts ended when the prey died, fights could last for days if kept up.

Dark water sieged over his face and down his neck, making the riping sensation of fur tearing through skin almost pleasant. More instead of changing into something, simply taking off a heavy suite. In this case a human suite. This vampire might have been trying to avoid a fight, but Ravange wasn't ever one for peace talk.

Jet fur seethed out and dripped over him, clothes were soon reduced to trash on the paved ground, he didn't really care how ruined his clothes were, all his mind focused on was the pounding rush of blood and the scent of prey. Back arched and expanded as thick, taunt muscles strewn down the length of his shoulders and flanks. Days of killing, running, hunting, all had left his wolf form scared and tattered but powerful. More beast like than wolf, simply a tangle of fangs, claws, and instincts.

Human mind had a few moments to think, knowing how the time it took to rip off his human skin would allow the vampire to run or attack, but also knowing that he was fast and strong enough to pass up the worries. Smirk remained on beastly lips, fangs pouring out of broad muzzle as snarling roar spilled. The rain blocked the sound from traveling. The lightning blocked the shape of the beast as he glared at the vampire. Rave's eyes swam with dark licking tongues of malice and sadistic demons. Glowing shine of amuse toyed with the inner light of gold.

A lightning bolt struck viciously, rattling the ground nearby, lighting up the wolf's face. He paused, claws clutching the stone building, balanced on hind feet, waiting. A hunters crouch seemed to overtake his hackles as he waited, feet barely separated them, he could strike if he wished, but the time that sucked at the minutes was filled the electric heat of a fight, and beastly mind would always wait to see if the vampire would run or attack.

[ooc: Thats okay]
